Published an article in the International Trumpet Guild Journal (January, 2015) "The Shepherd Trumpet and Its Seminal Importance in Music History." It's all about the harmonic series played melodically and how it was the creator of the "Folk Music Scale".

I recently posted a question on OMN about the tuning of an African thumb piano described in Henry E. Krehbiel's 1913 Afro-American Folksongs.
