About me: overtone and improvisation musician, TaKeTiNa rhythm teacher, leader of Bonner Obertonchor "vox intra voces", duo "vole voce" with Claudiha-Gayatri Matussek, ensemble "frequenzen", ensemble "transfer".
I understand overtone singing as part of the art of expressing the vox humana in all different ways, as a comprehensive musical art that has it's roots not only in the asiatic room but also in our own music tradition as well as in contemporary music. Beyond that overtone singing is the connection from the personal expression to the trans-personal world and a way to inner silence.
I like to co-operate with classical musicians, theater performances, classical indian musicians etc. allways looking for new forms of musical expression.

About me: I sing overtones since years, my main musical passion, clear and high, but I still can't do polyphonic, nor undertones, so I search always occasions to improve.
I play Jew's Harp since 2013, practicing practicing...
I lately discovered a passion for the overtone flute.
Another instrument I enjoy playing is the Sansula.
And since years I have the dream of getting a Hang, or something of equivalent beauty.
Live Looping and Electronic Music are other interests on which I invert some time sometimes :)
I am not a professional musician, but I love music more than any other thing, and if I only could get my money from it, I would just do that full time (also because otherwise I have too few free time for music).

About me: I am a 2nd generation overtone singer. I started exploring overtones in 1979, and gave my first concert in New York City in 1984.
My approach is a fine balance between science and intuition. As a trained musician, I have developed a unique style of rendering the overtones.
I hold a 1st Class Honours Degree from Trinity Laban Music Conservatoire (London), in Indian Classical Music Performance.
I have a real passion for blending overtones with other music traditions, such as Indian Classical singing, Jazz and Gregorian chant, and always welcome the chance to collaborate with other musicians.
I am also director of creativity & innovation for the business consultancy Abundant Sun Ltd. Within this capacity, I apply my artistic skills to the areas of stress management, team development and work-life balance.

About me: I am interested in the essence of sound since an age of 11, when i started to improvise with my violine, feeling the fabulous effects of free sound in my energy body. Through my own deep experiences with sound in meditations i found the core of myself in the infinite space. So i like to practise and teach nada yoga, the yoga of sound. I love to share my passion for vocal music with friends and i like to play violin as well to let my soul sing. But the best way for me to feel my soul through music ist to sing harmonics...It´s for me like man and soul in one body are in a voice dialogue and inspire one each other.

I fell in love with music when I was a little kid, but I've never been into singing until I discovered the world of overtones.
I always tried to find my own way of expression by learning several instruments, then I finally started singing overtones: since that day I met awesome people all over the world :)
In 2016 I co-founded with Ilaria Orefice the first overtone singing school in Sardinia(Italy): it is called "Sherden Overtone Singing School": we teach how to control breathing and speaking in an effective way, then we train people to discover their own overtones and to use them for creating music or to meditate.
Overtone series is a beautiful gift given to us by nature, so it belongs to anyone.

About me: Master didjeridoo artist Paradiso Turturici is a producer and composer who founded and owns the 5th Element music publishing company and record label. Paradiso has followed a spiritual path for many years, and has a thriving and rapidly growing career as a musician and sound therapist.

to work with iron, sometimes in a forge, otherwise as a musician and composer
the difference between click, tock and bing (i am attracted by slowness, or call it laziness, that causes a microscopical view (not only) on sounds and noises)
the visible/tactile aspect of distinct sounds or the audible aspect of shape and material (means also that strange theater of abstract numbers called music and how it touches our imagination, senses or moods, how it creates visible forms)
the mathematical view on music or the musical view on numbers (helps me to find the "scapes", sounds, rhythms and harmonies wich i desire to listen)
each place and each point in time has anything distinctive, each landscape or situation is represented by remarkable sounds, often they reveal a surprising musical quality (how to approach such moments?)
our audible environment contains information about structure, nature, culture (how to explore and integrate this in musical concepts?)
the full range of different sounds we are able to produce with our voice(s)

Max Brumberg
is an overtone musician and flute builder. He specialises in building overtone flutes and fujaras, but also irish(low)whistles and doubleflutes. They are carefully handcrafted from woods such as Elder and Maple, the branches being carefully selected by his own hands from our forests.
His first contact with the didjeridoo was in 1995, inspired by it's sound he delved deeper into harmonics and sound. His love of nature led him to travel with his sound and music to interesting power-places and he developed an intuitive improvisational playing style with the harmonics as a channel for the inaudible existing.
His repertoire of overtone instruments soon widened to encompass voice and flutes, mouthharp, singing bowls, gongs and more. At the moment he is experimenting in the playing and building of bagpipes and various other flutes and instruments.
Giving seminars and travelling with his instruments and music Max Brumberg desires to reconnect people to nature and themselves through intuitive overtone music. The world is sound, the natural harmonies of the overtone scale is the ancient matrix we find everywhere in nature and the cosmos, the (tone) ladder to ourselves and our roots..
Max Bumberg
ist Obertonmusiker und Floetenbauer. Sein Spezialgebiet sind Obertonfloeten und Fujaras, aber auch Irish (Low) Whistles und Doppelfloeten. Sie werden in feiner sorgfaeltiger Handarbeit meist aus Holunder aber auch aus anderen selbst im Wald gesuchten Hoelzern gebaut.
1995 war sein erster Kontakt mit dem Didjeridu, fortan beschaeftigte er sich mit Obertoenen und Klang(wirkung). Da er schon immer die Natur und besondere Orte in ihr liebte, begann er mit Klang zu Kraftorten zu reisen. Diese auf sich wirken lassend entwickelte er ein intuitiv improvisiertes Spiel mit Obertoenen als Kanal fuer das unhoerbare vorhandene.
Das Repertoir an (Oberton)Instrumenten hat sich seitdem um viele klangvolle erweitert, schon bald kamen Stimme und Floeten dazu, Maultrommel, Klangschalen, Gongs u.A., im Moment experimentiert er mit Spiel und Bau von Dudelsaecken und anderen Floeten und Instrumenten.
Max Brumberg ist es ein grosses Anliegen Menschen, durch Seminare in der Natur und durch Begegnungen, ueber intuitive Obertonmusik mit ihrer eigenen und der Natur wiederzuverbinden. Die Welt ist Klang und die natuerlichen Harmonien der Obertonmusik sind das Urmuster welches wir ueberall in Natur und Kosmos wiederfinden, die (Ton)Leiter zu uns und unseren Wurzeln.
