a common space & database for harmonic overtones
About me: musician, artist, throat and overtone singing, programming, electronics
About me: When I first heard overtone singing I was absolutely amazed. I've been listening to overtone singing a lot since then and taught myself how to do it with help from a few videos on Youtube. I'm now practcing polyphonic singing after being blown away a second time after hearing Pachelbel's Canon by Wolfgang Saus.
About me: I am an overtone singer and multi-instrumentalist. I come from the UK but now live in Slovakia. I have always been fascinated by the spirituality of making sounds and music. I travel extensively both performing and teaching overtone singing, Khoomei Mongolian throat singing, didgeridoo, jaw harp, Tibetan singing bowls, Native American flutes, symphonic gongs and other harmonic instruments from around the world. I have been playing all these beautiful harmonic instruments and overtone singing since around 1995 and have performed in concerts, festivals, exhibitions, radio and TV programs.
I also give educational concerts and talks about these instruments in schools and for various groups. I am an experienced and enthusiastic workshop leader, offering workshops and one-to-one’s on overtone/throat singing and world harmonic instruments.
About me: I am an overtone singer. I started to practice overtone singing and carrying out research on the phenomenon in 2009. In 2012 and 2013 I held courses in overtone singing. From 2013 till now I have been involved in the construction of the website Armonici.it and the software Harmonync (which allows you to play the harmonic series with electronic instruments).
About me: I sing harmonic chant or overtone singing from 2002 and I love Music, Sound, Acoustics, and being in the very present while singing...
About me: Italian overtone singer, throat singer(Tuvan Khöömei), musician and flutemaker.
I perform in concerts and theaters with Sherden Overtone Choir, in Sardinia(Italy) and abroad: I also offer workshops and private lessons using my "4L's method", which allows to gradually learn overtone singing through four paths: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2ZurQeV5mr8
I fell in love with music when I was a little kid, but I've never been into singing until I discovered the world of overtones.
I always tried to find my own way of expression by learning several instruments, then I finally started singing overtones: since that day I met awesome people all over the world :)
In 2016 I co-founded with Ilaria Orefice the first overtone singing school in Sardinia(Italy): it is called "Sherden Overtone Singing School": we teach how to control breathing and speaking in an effective way, then we train people to discover their own overtones and to use them for creating music or to meditate.
Overtone series is a beautiful gift given to us by nature, so it belongs to anyone.
