Dreamtime Music for body, mind and soul Music can be- if one gets involved with it -- a door-opener to an inner journey You close your eyes and let you lead from the tones and sounds to images, feelings and memories.

Now, exactly this is behind the philosophy of Bulu ş Basmali. To call back the long forgotten heritage of our ancestors to our consciousness, and the old strength of the human cultures that already slumbers for centuries in the subsoil of our civilisation, to revive and to let be alive, TOWN UNDER would like to send the listener on a journey.

The beautiful music of the band serves, as a key and guide, to a part of the collective treasure of humanity. The fact that TOWN UNDER uses various instruments for it, from all over the world and seems to combine them new, is also a reflection that all cultural currents of our earth have a common origin in the "dream time", and therefore the earth prayer sees itself as a bearer of the music of Earth citizens for Earth citizens .

In this sense, TOWN UNDER wishes you a wonderful listening experience for diving -- feeling -- dreaming The band was founded in 2004 by Bulus Basmali. After a creative break and musical growth period TOWN UNDER regrouped in their present cast in 2009.

The musical pieces are composed and arranged by Bulus Basmalı, Frank West, and Abdelillah Hajim Uuganbaatar Tsend-Ochir, each band member contributes on helping the songs to their perfect form.

Our world music is varied: In addition to concerts, events, workshops, festivals, film & television, commercials, TV series, film music, drama, documentary music, game music & samples, clubs, hotels, trade shows, seminars, in beauty and wellness centres, etc. "Town Under World Music " plays with a specially designed program.

Instruments:

Bulus Basmali (Turkey): The songwriter and composer has been working since his youth with music and culture of Australian Aborigines and Origin folks. After studying for years the Yirdaki, he became a true master on this instrument. His skill and knowledge gave and still transmits him with pleasure as a leader of various Yirdaki groups. In addition to his main instrument, the Yirdaki (Australian harmonically rich wind instrument), he is also playing saz (Asian lute), Yatga (Mongolian half-tube zither), Morin Khuur (horse head fiddle), Sitar (Indian plucked instrument), berimbau (African stringed instrument), Yocchin (Mongolian dulcimer) , clap sticks, Bora Bora (bullroarer) and various percussion. He also mastered Tuvan and Mongolian undertone and overtone song (Khargýra). Bulus Basmali is the founder of Town Under.
