Using them for music (inc. in a band Praying for the rain), meditation, sonic massage and also dealing in them, traveling to India and the himalayas every year except the last two, hand picking a few bowls from the thousands that I listen to.
As a band we are:
Praying for the Rain plays a diverse mixture of instruments inc. didj native american flutes variety of hand drums and singing bowls along with more standard western instruments guitar violin bass acordian and kit drums. Vocally harmonies are used often and michael ormiston often supplies Houmi and overtoneing. the sound is a mix of many world influences as is reflected by the instruments used.
