Thx you all!!! You are verry suportive and nice with comments. Thats the thing what keeps me going! If anyone hase ANY questions feel free to ask. I´m not much english speaker or writer, but i`l do my best.

As i understand, there`s two different igil`s and khuur`s. First ones are played with knuckles underneath the strings... others are played like chellos. I preffered the firs one. And thereś a good explanation for that. Igil soundboard is rawhide..so it`s sensitive to humidity. As the lower brige is resting on this changing surface, it may change the string distance from fingerboard. In extreme cases it may cause buzzy sound, or worst ...instrument is not playable. When the strings are "far" away from fingerboard, there`s no such problem. Also actually you don`t need to push the strings against anything. To get the different notes its enough to touch the string lightly. In my case... i use both tehniques with my igil. Underneath style for long notes and and touching the strings from "other" side for fast playng.

Well..the horsehair should not be the problem (if that`s the case :D) for strings you can use the fishline. 0.2 mm line..and about 120 starnds in one and 80 in other. It works nicely. Btw.. Igil is damn sturdy instrument... i belive i could fend off alot folkmusichaters with it :D In all my years i haven`t seen a simpeler chromatic instrument. This summer il try to find out, can i make one with the basic tools, what everyone should get there hands on. Maybe chainsaw!!!
