I have only seen the place from air perspective in Google Maps, but it certainly looks like the very same church! I don't know about Nils Landgrens album.

Birgitte Grimstad 's CD Love is a Flow seems to be a wonderful overtone singing recording ... I am really impressed by the beginning of this CD.

TELEBORG WATER TOWER (THE ECHO TEMPLE) NEAR VÄXJÖ, SWEDEN
The cylindrical water tank which has a volume of 4500 cubic meters has a concave bottom - seen from the inside that is. So when you stand outside underneath the construction which is supported by columns it is vice versa: the shape is convex - so actually it is like being under a cupolla. The 'echo temple' which has become a famous site and tourist attraction has peculiar acoustic characteristics, one of them being a countable echo, where you may detect 20 distinct echoes in succession.

A natural amphitheater of the Nordic kind. It doesn't exactly invite for the more subtle sound nuances, so herding calls (kulning) etc. is a more fertile point to start.
The performers in the video are Ole Kaimer, didgeridoo and Skye Løfvander, vocals.
