Steffen Schreyer Wins Choir Competition in Bratislava

I am excited to announce that Prof. Steffen Schreyer, the conductor of the European Overtone Choir, EOC, won the first price in the international choir competition in Bratislava, Slovakia, with his Aachen Childrens Choir. As a specialist in contemporary music the choir of 8 to 14 year old girls and boys accomplished a most demanding program of solely 21st century works of young composers including a premiere of a piece especially written for then. My congratulations!
Prof. Schreyer together with me will study new composed and also experimental music with a group of interested singers on our next meeting of the open-to-everybody project EOC in 5th to 13th of July in Nové Hrady, Czech Republic. There still is the possibility to join us.
