Beginner's thoughts about Khoomeï and Sygyt

Two different techniques of throat singing. Both use the Xorekteer voice. I try in the new sample (Khoomeitest and Sygytest) to sing in these two styles. It's not so easy ;-)

Khoomeï test : i sing with the Xorekteer voice and then i make a O with my mouth and lips. I feel that the high harmonics are harder to sing than the low. I use the tongue to select the harmonic, i've notice that it works like the Harmonica technique called Bending.

Xorekteer Voice

I've uploaded a new track : Xorekteer-vowels. In this track i try to sing the Xorekteer voice and to use the root of my tongue to sing some vowels. The Xorekteer voice is the Khoomeï fondations so i have to "master it" before going to Khoomeï and Sygyt.

Xorekteer

I had a new mp3. I try to sing with the Xorekteer voice.
Xorekteer means singing with the chest voice. This voice is the fondations of the khoomeï and sygyt. You have to work on your xorekteer voice before singing the other styles. You can listen to some Huun Huur Tu songs, sometimes they sing in the Xorekteer voice before going to Khoomeï or Sygyt.

Just a small record to show my progression in khoomei, maybe i'm on the wrong way
Actually i don't try the sygyt or kargyraa and i focus on khoomeï. By listening the cd's i try to imitate what i'm hearing.

A month

I can hear 4 harmonics but i don't know how can i have the higher or lower harmonics.
