- About me:
- We are an ambitious chamber choir that dedicates itself with great curiosity to the challenges of demanding choral literature. Together with our conductor Jurgita Česonytė, we are on the road between Renaissance and Modernism, enthusiastic about the diversity between classical a cappella works and overtone singing. Concert tours abroad with a focus on Eastern Europe enable us to engage in intercultural exchange on an artistic and personal level. This is how we want to build European bridges and open ears and eyes.

- We are happy to present our CD "Licht über Licht" ("light over light") that combines classical choral music with overtone chants for choir and soloist. All songs are about the light as a religious symbol (especially Christimas) or as a worldly metaphor.

Light over Light - Christmas Choral Music in Transreligious Dialogue
The CD, which is peppered with many first recordings, leads from Christian Christmas carols to Muslim and Jewish themes of light to the scientific examination of light. Old Master choral works and Christmas carols arranged for overtone choir are put side by side with contemporary compositions. Well-known carols are played in new arrangements paired with the spherical sounds of overtone singing. Works by Jan Heinke, Antonio Scandello, Amir Shpilman, Jan Arvid Prée, Wilfried Krätzschmar and others
