About me:
Jew's harps, experimental singing, live loops and improvisation. Danibal's love for the jew's harp sparked when he came into contact with Tuvan throat singing and Siberian jew's harp traditions in 1999. He became a specialist in this prehistoric synthesizer, his suitcase filled with jew's harps from all over the globe. Adding some yodeling and throat singing to the mix combined with live looping. His music has once been described as electronic dada folk.
Danibal has been a guest at various international jew's harp festivals in Moscow (Russia), Rauland (Norway), Catania (Sicily), Feldegg (Austria), Kescemet (Hungary), Berlin (Germany) and recently Corcelles (Switzerland). Since 2006 involved in the International Jews Harp Society, an association of jew's harp players, makers and researchers. Danibal plays together with the Utrecht musician Jan Schellink in the improvisation duo Heug. He is the initiator of Klangkörper, a stage for overtone music and co-founder of De Komijnen, a stage with an absurdist character. Besides being a musician, he is mainly active as a live cartoonist. Enjoy !
Indeed, there was death metal singing mixed with throat-singing because the lead singer was a death metal artist.
You can join him on Facebook. His name is Sebastien Croteaau
