An Educational video on History of Science was produced in Brazil, with a short vocal participation with overtone and Deep Voice (at the very beginning and around 4:15 min) - http://youtu.be/Nuf6MWJDSx0
Very nice and touching performance, bravo Riccardo Misto !
I am proud of having been on of the researchers, together with profs. Sundberg and Hammerberg, who worked on the scientific description of this phenomenon, produced by the co-oscillation between the vocal and the ventricular folds, that here vibrate at half the frequency of the vocal folds.
"A self-sustained vocal-ventricular phonation mode: acoustical, aerodynamic and glottographic evidences", by Leonardo Fuks, Britta Hammarberg & Johan Sundberg:KTH TMH-QPSR 3/1998, 49-59, Stockholm.
There are only a few artistic recordings of Tibetan deep voice , besides the spiritual contexts of this chanting ritual.
Please let me know if there are more, by yourself or other artists, in CD´s or DVD´s.
Thanks and congratulations once more!
