Bio Mike Maurer
Geboren 1962 in Erlenbach im Simmental. Mit zehn Jahren Trompetenunterricht bei Josef Schager. Studierte Schulmusik und Pädagogik am Konservatorium Bern (Abschluss 1985), sowie Trompete (bei Umberto Arlati und Bert Joris) und Arrangement an der Swiss Jazz School Bern (Diplom 1989)
Rege Konzerttätigkeit in allen musikalischen Stilrichtungen im In- und Ausland. Studiomusiker auf über 40 Tonträgern. Unterrichtet Trompete, Posaune und Alphorn in Köniz und im Simmental. Daneben freischaffender Interpret, Komponist und Arrangeur in unzähligen Formationen. Seit längerer Zeit intensive Auseinandersetzung mit dem Alphorn

dear Bill, thank you for the feedback. The above link will have the first minute with gongs being played, the link below an even smaller section again. Rarely the whole wall will be used for several reasons. The gongs are kind of heritage and belong to the cellar. The musicians who run the place, including me are not gong experts, however we use them in therapeutical sessions. You certanly gave me an idea to make a gong video ;-)
