  • Dear Tamas, we will be leaving Canada for Europe on June 27. We plan to be in Opalyi on July 21 for a few days before returning to Canada. We were hoping to meet as many relatives as possible, and to learn more about the Bendzsa family history. Will you be there? We could play some music together! How many Bendzsas are still living in Opalyi and Hungary? I am very excited. You can write me directly to my email:

  • Dear Tamas, thanks for your note. I could only read part of it. Send me an email if you like. We have much in common and we will be visiting Opalyi next month.

  • Dear Tamas, I found your name when searching for family ties. I believe we are related through family. My father came from Opalyi to Canada in 1921. I am a professional musician, clarinets and saxophones, and am coming to Opalyi for the first time next month. Do you have time to meet? I also play experimental music (see "Spanner"). Are you also related to Zsolt? He and I have been corresponding. I hope to meet you.
    Paul
