About me:
Carlos Michael has spent many years in India, where he studied tabla with Tarun Banerjee. He discovered crystal singing bowls through his profession as a body worker, in which role he offers Hatha yoga, Shiatsu, Rebalancing, Pelvic Release, Dorn Method, Cranio-Sacral and Watsu therapies. From the first few bowls that he used on clients' bodies, his collection expanded, and he began offering regular concerts. In addition to the bowls, Carlos plays several autoharps that he and LeAnn have converted into pentatonic zithers. Whether he's playing bowls or zithers, he has a unique way of using self-created mallets to make music in a way no one else can. When not on the road, Carlos spends his time between Berlin and Bonn.

I am very interested in your field of work, as I've always investigated new scientific approaches to discovering the healing power of music. My own stuff is not really new age either, but covers a wide range- world beat/ jazzy pop/ experimental- lots of global percussion. I play keyboards and do polyphonic overtone singing.
I'm coming to Berlin to perform solo, Tues, Nov 17th at Dodohaus (Huttenstr 30). It would be nice to meet you there, or if not, perhaps during the day later that week.
