Harmonic Introductions is a vocal ensemble dedicated to the art of overtone singing. Founded in Spring 2012, we currently hold weekly sessions in Rockville, MD using a variety of vocal exercises to teach members the techniques of overtone singing. Through holding free and structured meditative improvisations, we create a playspace for people to practice and get to know their own voice more intimately.
We are available for private lessons, group workshops, performances, and other collaborations.
Our goal as an ensemble and organization is to build a community of enthusiasm and appreciation for overtone singing within the D.C. metro area, and to play a role in the continued growth of a global network!
A vocal ensemble dedicated to the exploring and sharing the art of overtone singing through performance, lessons, workshops, and community building.
