About me:

I am fascinated by the traditional vocal music of different cultures such as songs from Corsica and Sardinia, Swiss Yodels, Bulgarian music, the music of the African Baka Forest people, the Joik of the Sami.

During my education in Music and movement (2015-2019) at the Bern University of the Arts, I have been studying music, rhythm and dance in depth, with a particular focus on the vital role of the body, of movement and of experiencing when we learn and make music.

Since 2010 I have been learning and further refining overtone singing and, since 2015 I have been teaching it in group and private lessons.

The voice and singing teachers that have most inspired me are Su Hart (yodeling and chants of the Baka Pygmies), Annunziata Matteucci (vocal music from the Mediterranean area), Ingrid Hammer (yodel), Frank Kane (Georgian polyphony and voice exploration), Anita Daulne (African music and vocal improvisation), Dessislava Stefanova (Bulgarian singing), Oskar Boldre (vocal improvisation and circle songs), Wolfgang Saus (overtone singing), Christian Zehnder (overtone singing).
