Composer/director of two New York City groups: The Kitsune Ensemble, a Japanese and American improvising chamber group performing original music inspired by less-known aspects of Japanese culture, and Blackbirds & Bullets, a sextet combining jazz improvisation with rhythmic and harmonic influences from around the world.
