Trân Quang Hai plays a new type of Jew's harp created in Vietnam . The frame is made of wood, and the tongue is made of metal. I saw this Jew's harp while Trân Quang Hai gave a workshop in overtone singing. So, in this video Trân Quang Hai gives a short improvisation with this new type of Jews's harp created in Vietnam. This video is filmed by Bạch Yến, Limeil Brévannes.

  • Hi everyone, a friend of mine ordered some new harps from Dan Moi and there was an error in the order, so to make up for the adustment in shipping he said they could sent him something in the key of "D". They sent him the new Jew's harp that is played by Tran Quang Hai. We're very glad they did. It's very easy to play, loud, and has a nice warm tone.
    • So you are happy with that error in the order. I met last week Gendos and I played for the first time on a jaw harp from Yakutia. I think I will order it soon or later at danmoi and maybe they will send me these new harps too instead of my order of jaw harps from Yakutia :-D

    • You mean this guimbarde sounds good under the fingers of the master of course! ? I saw this guimbarde and can tell you that you can play it very easy. You have not to be a master :-D
